Alberta Statutory Holidays 2025. Public bodies will now need to respond to requests within 30 business days. There are 9 general holidays, also referred to as statutory holidays, in alberta but employers can choose to recognize additional days as holidays.

Alberta family day is celebrated in the province on the third monday of february. However, there are also plenty of celebratory days that don’t count as statutory holidays.
